Long-Term Contract High School Counselor ( Kenowa Hills High School) May 10th - June 5th

The high school counselor will support students in academic achievement, career exploration, postsecondary planning, and social-Emotional development, ensuring they meet graduation requirements. Responsibilities include academic planning, monitoring credit attainment, providing individual and small-Group counseling, and coordinating with families and staff.

Candidates must possess a valid michigan school counselor license (Nt endorsement or school counselor license) and have knowledge of the michigan merit curriculum and high school graduation requirements. Familiarity with postsecondary admissions, fafsa, scholarships, mtss, section 504 compliance, and a commitment to diversity and equity are also required.
