Study skills instructor, upward bound

The instructor will provide instruction and tutoring in writing for upward bound participants, supporting them with college applications, scholarships, and academic enrichment, including teaching a college preparation course during the summer academy. Responsibilities also involve curriculum refinement, sat/Act test preparation, and maintaining student records and relationships with school staff.

A bachelor's degree in education or a related field, along with three years of professional, full-Time experience teaching students from diverse academic, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds is required. Experience working with students with various abilities and accommodation needs is also necessary.
