School Based Mental Health Professional

The professional provides contracted behavioral health services, which include coordinating, assessing, implementing, and evaluating the needs of children, adolescents, and families through classroom support, individual counseling, and group facilitation. This role also involves functioning in consultative, collaborative, and educational relationships with school staff and other professionals involved in client care.

Candidates must be prepared to provide therapy services aligned with school district and individualized education plan (Iep) needs, monitor and document behavioral data, and handle administrative duties like incident reporting and necessary paperwork consistent with licensure. The position requires working closely with students, teachers, parents, and administrators to deliver mental health support.
