Graduate Assistant, Cross Country/Track & Field

The graduate assistant will primarily assist the head coach in coaching, instruction, and team administration (60%), which includes organizing practices, managing operational budgets, and assisting with event programming, particularly in sprints, throws, and jumps. Additionally, the role involves significant recruiting efforts (30%) to attract qualified student-Athletes and site management duties (10%) at home athletic events.

Candidates must possess proven integrity, leadership, and thorough knowledge of cross country and track & field, along with a strong commitment to motivating and teaching academically qualified student-Athletes. A bachelor's degree is required, along with full acceptance into a hood college graduate program, and candidates must maintain a 3.00 cumulative gpa.
