Core responsibilities
This role involves assisting and supervising residents in enhanced behavioral residential group homes with activities of daily living and implementing prescribed behavior support and health care plans. Responsibilities include teaching self-Care and independent living skills, maintaining resident safety, participating in team planning, and accurately documenting program adherence.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged, along with a valid rbt certification or the willingness to obtain one within 90 days, or hold a licensed psychiatric technician or qualified behavior modification professional status. Minimum requirements also include a valid driver's license with at least two years of driving experience and an acceptable driving record; one year of prior direct care experience focusing on behavioral services for individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
