Reading Resource Teacher

The reading resource teacher facilitates coaching cycles to support teachers' learning of content and pedagogy, working to improve instructional practices and increase student achievement. This role involves coordinating the total reading/Literacy program, monitoring student progress, analyzing data for student placement, and providing academic support to identified students.

Candidates must possess a master’s degree and hold or be eligible for a maryland advanced professional certificate with a reading endorsement, along with five years of satisfactory teaching experience. Essential qualifications include demonstrated knowledge of instructional methodologies, exemplary human relations skills, and the ability to effectively speak, write, retrieve, and analyze data.
