Special Education Teacher

The special education teacher will provide direct supervision to adolescents aged 12-18, acting as a role model while offering support and structure within the care facility. Duties include supervising youth for behavioral changes, stimulating interest in classes, preparing evaluations via isp/Iep, maintaining security, and providing crisis intervention when necessary.

Candidates must possess evidence of a teaching degree and current arizona state certification in the relevant subject areas, along with being over the age of 21. The ideal applicant needs maturity, empathy, patience, and the ability to adjust quickly to a fast-Paced environment while adhering to protocols.
