Education Paraprofessional

This role involves providing instruction, guidance, and supervision to students with various behavioral, learning, and emotional problems, which includes assisting special education teachers with lessons and progress monitoring. Responsibilities also encompass maintaining classroom control, administering assessments, providing classroom coverage, and ensuring the security of youth, including crisis intervention when necessary.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid arizona driver's license, along with the ability to obtain a fingerprint clearance card. Essential requirements include emotional stability, physical fitness to handle stress, and the capability to physically restrain and assist injured adolescents, pass a tb test, and undergo a medical exam.
