Transition Specialist

The specialist will conduct personal and career exploration sessions for high school students with disabilities, assisting them in identifying interests and developing job-Seeking skills like resume writing and interviewing. Duties also include utilizing placement techniques to develop job shadowing and internship sites, and performing case coordination for a caseload of participants.

A bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or social work is preferred, along with at least one year of related work experience with individuals with various impairments. Preferred qualifications include teaching experience with at-Risk youth and fluency in american sign language and/Or spanish.
