Core responsibilities
The instructional aide will provide personalized support, supervision, and guidance to k-8 students in special education, collaborating with teachers to implement individualized education programs (Ieps). Responsibilities include delivering individualized instruction, monitoring student progress, managing behavior, and completing necessary documentation.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent with passage of a basic skills test, along with an associate's degree, 60 college credits, or successful completion of the praxis paraprofessional test. Required abilities include crisis management certification, experience with special needs populations, strong motivational skills, and advanced communication and problem-Solving abilities.
