Developmental Specialist Vocational

The developmental specialist vocational is primarily responsible for building positive relationships with individuals supported, assisting them in achieving personal dreams and goals outlined in their individual goal plans. This includes assessing hopes and desires, ensuring rights are protected, and providing supports in various settings like community or vocational workshops.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma and a valid us driver's license, though prior experience working with adults with mental health diagnoses or developmental disabilities is not required. The role involves direct support, documentation, and adherence to agency and federal regulations.
