Teacher Assistant

The teacher assistant will administer an early childhood education program for infants and toddlers, meeting their individual needs while collaborating closely with the lead teacher and education specialist. Key duties include managing the classroom environment, supporting program planning according to head start standards, and ensuring children's physical, creative, and emotional development.

Candidates must possess a current preschool cda or be on a plan to obtain one within six months, or hold an associate/Bachelor's degree in a related field within two years. Required credentials include current cpr, first aid, and food handler's permits, along with a willingness to support children with special needs and limited english proficiency.
