Infant Toddler Teacher 2

The teacher works with an experienced colleague to deliver developmentally appropriate activities within a quality early childhood program, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of young children and families. Essential duties include fostering warm relationships with children, utilizing the highscope curriculum for planning and interaction, observing/Assessing children, maintaining a safe environment, partnering with families, and managing the classroom.

Minimum education requirements include one of several options such as the florida child care professional credential (Fccpc) birth – 5 years, infant toddler national cda, early childhood professional certificate (Ecpc), child care apprenticeship certificate (Ccac), or 9 college credits in early childhood education plus 3 months of experience. Desired qualifications include community membership, farm worker background, and current pediatric cpr and first aid certifications.
