Infant Toddler Teacher Trainee

The trainee works alongside an experienced teacher to implement developmentally appropriate activities within a quality early childhood program, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for young children. Essential duties involve learning to support the social-Emotional climate, using the highscope curriculum for planning, observing and assessing child development, and partnering with families.

The minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or ged from an accredited or recognized institution, with specific translation requirements for foreign diplomas. Desired qualifications include being a member of the served community, having a farm worker background, and possessing current pediatric cpr and first-Aid certifications.
