Day Habilitation Specialist - Glen Cove

The specialist will help residents achieve personal goals, provide structure and emotional support, assist in resolving behavioral issues, and help individuals with personal hygiene. Responsibilities also include completing accurate documentation and transporting individuals to and from activities using agency vehicles.

Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent plus two years of id/Dd experience, or an associate's or bachelor's degree, or three years of related experience. A clean and valid nys driver's license is required, along with the ability to lift and transfer adults and flexibility to be reassigned.
