Behavior Support Specialist - School Based

The specialist will implement positive behavioral interventions, supports, and services using applied behavior analysis principles, including discrete trial instruction and the verbal behavior approach. Key duties involve collecting data, implementing prompts, conducting preference assessments, and carrying out therapeutic regimens aligned with student iep goals.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with some college or working towards new york state certified behavior analyst assistant certification preferred. Candidates must have three or more years of experience serving children with autism and/Or developmental disabilities and be physically capable of handling preschooler supervision activities.
