Day Habilitation Specialist - Glen Cove

The specialist will assist adults with intellectual/Developmental disabilities in achieving personal goals, providing structure and emotional support, and helping with personal hygiene and behavioral issues. Responsibilities also include completing accurate documentation and transporting individuals to volunteer and pre-Vocational activities.

Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent plus two years of id/Dd experience, or an associate's or bachelor's degree, or three years of related experience. A clean and valid nys driver's license is required, along with the ability to lift and transfer adults and maintain required certifications like amap and scip.
