Lead Day Habilitation Specialist - Bethpage

The lead day habilitation specialist will be responsible for helping program participants meet or exceed personal goals, providing structure and emotional support, and assisting with resolving behavioral issues. This role also involves helping supported individuals with personal hygiene, completing accurate documentation, and transporting participants to activities using agency vehicles.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with one year of experience in the opwdd field; two years of acld experience is preferred. Candidates must obtain several certifications post-Hire, including scip restrictive certification, cpr, first aid, aed, and amap, and must possess a clean, valid nys driver's license.
