Assistant Teacher - Early Childhood Center - Headstart (60119)

The assistant teacher will support the lead teacher by planning and executing daily classroom programs and activities, which includes providing primary care to children and maintaining an organized, safe, and sanitary classroom environment. Responsibilities also involve conducting required home visits and assisting in curriculum development and implementation.

A high school diploma or hse is required, though a bachelor's degree is preferred, along with a teacher assistant certification or cda. Experience working with children is necessary, and being bilingual in english/Spanish or chinese is preferred.
