Certified Group Exercise Instructor - West Park YMCA

Group exercise instructors are responsible for designing and teaching safe, high-Quality, effective, and challenging group exercise classes that adhere to the designated format. This includes demonstrating skills clearly, monitoring member technique and intensity, and ensuring participant safety throughout the session.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or ged, current certification in cpr/Aed for all ages and first aid, and current certification in foundations of ymca group exercise or an equivalent approved certification. Preference is given to candidates with an associate's degree and specific class format training documentation.
