Core responsibilities
Responsibilities include providing an engaging, physically and emotionally safe, and inclusive environment to encourage play, exploration, and learning, while encouraging active participation and age-Appropriate social interactions. The role also involves developing respectful relationships with families, identifying and reporting suspected child abuse, implementing weekly lesson plans, and assisting with data collection on child growth and development.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be over 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or ged, with enrollment in a relevant degree program being a plus. Prior experience working with children, especially in a licensed childcare or educational setting, is desired.
