Description Kidsteps early intervention program is seeking an outstanding Social Worker to ensure the development and implementation of activities that are family-centered and promote positive outcomes! Hours

  • 40 hours/week
  • Location: New Haven area

Responsibilities

of our Social Worker will include: Evaluating and assessing children and families to assist with and planning, development, implementation, and review of curriculums and IFSP's that will meet the individual developmental needs of young children and their families. Completing and maintaining records in accordance with applicable regulations and as assigned. Performing functions of service coordinator including ensuring that Early Intervention services achieve desired outcomes for families and children served and meet the standards as established by the state’s quality assurance team.

Requirements

Must maintain current state license for LCSW. Must possess and maintain valid Connecticut licensure or certification per CT State Birth to Three professional regulations. Master of Social Work from an accredited school required. Must have a valid United States driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
