  • Academic Responsibilities (60%)
  • Serve as a core faculty member responsible for the supervision, teaching, and mentorship of Family Medicine residents.
  • Provide direct clinical supervision of residents in outpatient (and when applicable, inpatient) settings, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care.
  • Deliver structured and informal teaching, including didactic lectures, case reviews, and clinical precepting.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and complete formal evaluations to support resident growth and competency development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes professionalism, curiosity, and lifelong learning.
  • Work with the Program Director to maintain accreditation standards and ensure board eligibility.
  • Engage in scholarly activity and promote inquiry at regional and national levels.
  • Participate in faculty development to enhance teaching, leadership, and clinical skills.
  • Clinical Expectations (40%)
  • Provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care services across the lifespan, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute visits.
  • Deliver evidence-based care that aligns with Evara Health’s quality standards and clinical protocols.
  • Build and maintain strong patient relationships within the Pinellas County community, with a focus on underserved populations.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including behavioral health, dental, pharmacy, and care management.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant medical documentation within the electronic health record.
  • Participate in team-based care initiatives, quality improvement efforts, and care coordination activities.
  • Support organizational goals related to patient outcomes, access, and patient experience.
  • On call supervision of residents (outpatient, phone call only)

Required Education & Experience

  • Graduation from Accredited Medical School (MD, or DO)
  • Eligible to obtain Active/Clear Florida Medical License
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine
  • 3-Years of experience in Graduate Medical Education, preferred
