Direct Support Professional

The role involves providing one-To-One direct support to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities to foster independence, dignity, and choice in their lives. Responsibilities include implementing support plans, acting as a mentor, supporting individuals with various challenges in their home and community, and participating hands-On in daily activities.

Candidates must be committed to empowering individuals to live independently and happily, often involving supporting daily chores, accompanying clients to activities, and providing emotional support. A high school diploma or ged is preferred, and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
