Direct Support Professional

The role involves providing one-To-One direct support services to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities to foster independence, dignity, and choice in their lives. Duties include acting as a mentor, supporting individuals with various challenges in home and community settings, and implementing their individual support plan.

Candidates must support individuals to achieve personal, educational, and career goals by encouraging self-Sufficiency rather than acting as mere caregivers. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a human services field and experience working with individuals with autism, though experience is not required.
