The registered nurse operates with high autonomy as the sole medical professional on campus, providing health education and performing complex medical procedures like peg tube care and emergency tracheostomy care. Responsibilities also include delegating non-Complex tasks, administering and storing medications, conducting supervisory rounds, and ensuring emergency equipment is functional.

Candidates must be a graduate from an accredited rn program and hold a current, unrestricted louisiana state license as a registered nurse, along with cpr certification. Required skills include the ability to work effectively with diverse staff while maintaining flexibility and a positive attitude.
