SPED - Self-Contained

The special education self-Contained teacher is responsible for maintaining detailed student service logs, creating and modifying lessons, and providing both individual and small group instructional services to students. This role also involves collaborating with general education teachers for mainstreaming students and ensuring all services align with the student's individualized education program (Iep).

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or higher, accompanied by a minimum of 24 credit hours in the relevant content area. The position is a full-Time, 10-Month role, requiring training in july, and reports directly to the regional director of exceptional student services.
