Requirements summary

A high school diploma or ged is required, plus six months of experience in child care, though this experience can be substituted by additional education such as ccot, cda, aa, or a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field. Candidates must also pass state abuse registry checks, a drug screen, and submit to a tb skin test or provide proof of immunizations.
