  • Shift: DayAs an adjunct, applicant must have a commitment to undergraduate teaching and mentoring in the liberal arts tradition. Hold a minimum of six office hours per week on no fewer than four different days. Prepare course outline and syllabus, develop course and lesson plans, and engage in the selection of textbook and other teaching aids necessary to the instruction of courses. Teach pertinent course subject using lectures, demonstrations, class discussion, and other appropriate modes of educational delivery. Lead and monitor classroom instruction that promotes educational and learning process keeping with faculty academic freedom and responsibility. Evaluate and grade student performance. Responsible for producing and distributing course learning objectives. Opportunity for ongoing adjunct teaching is possible.
