Residential Care Counselor

The counselor is primarily responsible for the care and safety of assigned children, acting as a primary residential care counselor within the multidisciplinary treatment team. This includes formulating, implementing, observing, and documenting therapeutic residential treatment plans under supervision.

A baccalaureate degree in a human service field is required, though other education/Experience may substitute at the hiring manager's discretion. Candidates must have six months to one year of direct child care experience with emotionally impaired youth and maintain current certifications in crisis management, cpr, ers, safety, and osha.
