KY Moms Prevention Specialist

The specialist will assist community coalitions with the ky moms matr program, deliver prevention services to pregnant and postpartum women, and conduct sbirt trainings for referral sources. Key duties also involve developing community referral protocols, participating in state initiatives, and maintaining confidential client files and records.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or health education, along with knowledge of substance use disorders and community supports. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel regionally and overnight are mandatory, with a requirement to obtain certified prevention specialist (Cps) certification within three years.
