Adapted Physical Education Teacher

The teacher is responsible for developing and implementing appropriate lesson plans that incorporate interdisciplinary goals and objectives. This role also involves coordinating classroom staff duties related to gymnasium activities and ensuring the constant supervision and safety of students.

A bachelor's degree in physical education and current nys initial or professional certification in physical education are required qualifications for this position. Candidates must also be able to physically manage students, including lifting up to 50 pounds independently or 150 pounds with assistance.
