Core responsibilities

The coordinator assists public school students with intellectual developmental disability diagnoses and co-Occurring complex mental health or substance use issues by navigating behavioral health, physical health, and school systems using an integrated whole-Person approach. Responsibilities include planning and care management, identifying service needs, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the implementation of person-Centered plans.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in a human service field with two years of post-Bachelor's i/Dd experience, or a degree in a non-Human service field with four years of relevant i/Dd experience. Required abilities include exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, problem-Solving, knowledge of behavioral health and idd, and proficiency in shifting between macro and micro-Level planning.
