Occupational Therapy Assistant

The occupational therapy assistant (Cota) assists the occupational therapist in patient screening, assessment, and evaluation processes. They implement treatment plans and provide ongoing patient care while maintaining professional standards and compliance with legal requirements.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program and hold a license or eligibility for licensure in new mexico. Certification with the national board for certification in occupational therapy is also required.
