Special Education Teacher

Key responsibilities include developing tailored lesson plans, supervising paraprofessionals, managing the positive behavior intervention and supports (Pbis) program, and maintaining a safe, engaging classroom environment for students with various disabilities. The role also requires attending iep meetings, writing updates, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely.

Candidates must possess an arizona department of education standard professional special education teaching certificate or endorsement, along with a bachelor's degree, and must have an active ivp fingerprint clearance card. Preferred qualifications include 2-5 years of experience working with students with learning or social-Emotional needs and proficiency in written and verbal english.
