Swim Lesson Instructor (1231)

The swim lesson instructor is responsible for the professional instruction of all swim lessons under the supervision of the aquatics director, while also ensuring the safety of members in the pool area by enforcing policies courteously.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and possess mandatory certifications including bls, emergency oxygen administration, and ymca swim lesson instructor certification or equivalent. Experience instructing swim lessons or coaching aquatic programs is related experience, and specific swimming proficiency tests must be passed.
