The instructor is responsible for teaching assigned undergraduate education courses using high-quality instructional strategies, integrating theory and practice, and supporting student success in coursework and clinical experiences. Essential duties include designing engaging instruction, developing and evaluating assessments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring coursework aligns with state certification and accreditation standards.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Education or a closely related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the K-12 level. Applicants are also required to possess or be eligible for Michigan teaching certification.

Minimum of $1,353 per credit hour, if advanced degree held in primary academic discipline the minimum rate increases to $1,458 per credit hour; Salary commensurate with qualifications pursuant to the FSU and FNTFO/AFT Agreement.

Candidates must be available to teach in person (main or other campuses) or synchronously online during the hours of 9 am- 5 pm, with occasional evening courses.
This is a pooled position. One or more candidates may be hired as needed to teach courses on a semester-by-semester basis.
Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses or approved FSU sites. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site.
