Teacher School Age

The part-Time afterschool teacher is responsible for the supervision, safety, and enrichment of school-Age children during after-School hours, planning and facilitating engaging activities that support academic, social-Emotional, and physical development. This role includes providing homework support, leading structured enrichment activities, and implementing positive behavior guidance within a safe and nurturing environment.

Candidates must possess a minimum of 12 early childhood education/Child development units and at least six months to a year of experience working with children in relevant settings like licensed childcare or afterschool programs. Essential requirements include eligibility for a commission on teacher credentialing permit, current pediatric cpr/First aid certification, and the ability to pass background checks and meet physical demands.
