Core responsibilities
The primary function is to orient and educate all nursing personnel to ensure safe and effective nursing care according to federal, state, and facility guidelines. This includes developing education programs, supervising new employees during orientation, and performing annual competency testing and clinical appraisals.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current rn license, and preferably have a minimum of three years of full-Time clinical experience. Two years of clinical experience in long-Term care nursing, with one year as an educator, is preferred, along with excellence in clinical nursing skills.
