Staff Development Coordinator, RN

The primary function is to orient and educate all nursing personnel to ensure safe and effective nursing care according to established guidelines and procedures. This includes developing education programs, supervising new employees during orientation, and performing annual competency testing and clinical appraisals.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing holding a current rn license, with preferred experience including a minimum of three years of clinical experience and two years in long-Term care nursing, with one year as an educator. Excellence in clinical nursing skills is required, and experience in gerontology and adult learning is preferred.
