The School Psychologist will conduct testing and assessments for students across grades K-8 and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in School Psychology and a valid Professional Pupil Services License from the State Board of Education in Ohio. At least two years of successful school psychology experience in an urban school is preferred.

The School Psychologist role provides an opportunity for a talented educator to work with students with various social, emotional, and academic needs across United’s four campuses. The School Psychologist will have a number of key responsibilities including the following: conducting testing and assessments for students across grades K-8; collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to provide insights and recommendations for individual education plans; designing individualized education plans to address functional and academic needs; and providing individual and group counseling to students dealing with emotional, developmental, and behavioral challenges. This position is integral in ensuring that all students have access to high-quality educational experiences.
