Adjunct teaching faculty are responsible for delivering instruction aligned with the college's strategic goals by conducting classes, preparing lessons, and providing course syllabi. The primary requirement for this role is a Bachelor's degree in music to deliver instruction and evaluate student progress effectively. A Master’s degree in music is desired, and the instructor must be willing to work a flexible schedule to meet departmental needs.

Rate of Pay: Dependent on assignment

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Bachelor's degree in music
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Master’s degree in music
1. Conduct assigned classes and/or labs
2. Prepare lessons
3. Provide course syllabus (which shall include grading standards, attendance policies, classroom behavioral expectations, course outline and contact information)
4. Verify student enrollment and submit grade sheets
5. Prepare labs 6. Enforce lab safety procedures
1. Keep accurate record of student performance
2. Provide students with timely feedback
1. Maintain office hours and voicemail/e-mail communication 2. Refer students to student support services 3. Accommodate special needs students
