Inpatient Clinical RD – Adult

The primary responsibilities involve providing age and culturally appropriate medical nutrition therapy using evidence-Based guidelines, conducting thorough nutrition assessments, and managing malnutrition treatment for assigned inpatient or outpatient patients. This role also requires maintaining accurate clinical documentation, participating in professional development, and supervising dietetic interns during their assigned rotations.

Candidates must be a registered dietitian (Rd) or eligible to take the exam with successful achievement within six months of hire, and must possess a bachelor's degree (Or meet the master's requirement for those completing education after january 2024). Required experience is 0-3 years, and successful candidates must obtain connecticut state dietitian-Nutritionist certification within three months of registration.
