Surgical Technician

The preceptor acts as an experienced staff member responsible for developing critical thinking skills in new staff through role modeling, education, and serving as a resource during their orientation to the unit and organization. This role is essential for assisting new staff members in achieving a successful orientation.

Candidates should preferably have a minimum of six months of clinical experience and demonstrate effective communication and problem-Solving abilities in difficult situations. They must also be willing to share expertise, adhere to organizational policies, and encourage teamwork and staff development.
