Early Childhood Assistant Teacher - Evanston / Beth Emet (FT)

The assistant teacher is responsible for ensuring the safety and welfare of children by supervising them constantly by sight and sound, while collaborating with the teaching team to implement an integrated secular and jewish curriculum. They must foster an environment conducive to emotional and cognitive growth while maintaining strong communication with staff and parents.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or ged, and demonstrate physical stamina for active engagement with children, including lifting up to 40lbs and being mobile for long periods. Preferred qualifications include demonstrated passion and prior child development experience in early childhood settings.
