Substitute Teacher - Evanston, IL

The substitute teacher will step into classrooms as needed to support children, assist with daily routines and activities across mixed-Age groups, and help create a warm, safe, and engaging learning environment. This role involves collaborating with school staff to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care while modeling positive professional conduct.

Candidates must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with a warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor, and a passion for working with young children. Minimum qualifications include a negative tb test within the last 12 months and a valid state background check, though formal montessori training is not required as training will be provided.
