School-Based Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

The assistant will help implement individualized therapy plans developed by the occupational therapist, focusing on improving daily living skills like dressing and eating. Responsibilities also include tracking patient progress, documenting records, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams while educating families on therapeutic strategies.

Candidates must possess an associate’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program and hold current cota certification through nbcot, along with state licensure or eligibility. Previous experience in an occupational therapy setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
