Behavior Technician

The behavior technician provides direct one-On-One behavioral interventions to individuals with autism to teach communication and social skills, and reduce problematic behaviors across home, community, and school settings. This involves utilizing interventions based on applied behavior analysis (Aba) science under the guidance of a licensed behavior analyst.

Candidates must be located within a 30-Mile radius of washtenaw county and must possess a high school diploma, with the ability to pass background checks, a tb test, and complete initial online training modules. Essential functions include establishing therapeutic relationships, following treatment plans, prompting replacement behaviors, and accurately collecting various forms of behavior data.
