Nurse Education Instructor

The nurse education instructor coordinates and conducts orientation and ongoing education programs for staff providing direct patient care, while also facilitating clinical practice and professional development for assigned nursing personnel. This role involves developing and implementing training programs for both professional and non-Professional staff that directly impact patient care.

A baccalaureate of science degree in nursing is required, along with current licensure as a registered nurse in tennessee. Candidates must obtain aha bls instructor status within six months and instructor status in acls or pals within one year, alongside current nursing practice skills.
