Teacher Aide- TA 3 (Part- Time), St. Joseph Center for Special Learning

The teacher aide supports the classroom teacher by assisting with instruction, supervising students during activities and transitions, and helping with basic academic tasks. This role also involves performing routine physical tasks such as feeding, lifting, and diaper changing as needed to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.

Candidates must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, a genuine fondness for children, and sensitivity to students with disabilities, with a high school diploma preferred but no prior experience required. Applicants must be able to physically lift and transport a student weighing up to 30 pounds and pass required state and federal background checks prior to employment.
